Even if you’re not interested in such a feature, it’s nevertheless interesting to see here. Most curiously, there’s also a Print function that will print the scan results for you to see. The size percentage next to each file also helps: if it’s notable amount, you’ll see a green line just below it. I liked that I was able to scan any folder I wanted, and the program would be quick to scan them and provide me with the data I needed. Scanning speeds may vary based on your hardware, but I found the program to be relatively light and fast with its operations. This information will be succinctly displayed to you, so that you can begin ridding your machine of any space hogs or redundant files. In short, the software will calculate the number of files and folders within the directories of your chosen path, as well as their size footprint. If you’re unsure where to start, you can’t go wrong with clicking a drive, then waiting for the calculations to finish. If the goal here is to provide users with a storage visualizer that is easy to digest, then I’d say the software does a pretty good job at it. What you get is a utility that can be easily maneuvered even by someone less knowledgeable. The program adopts a design that may be somewhat reminiscent of earlier Windows versions, but not to its detriment in my opinion. Well-suited to dealing with populous folders When you consider that some don’t even require installation in the first place, an app like MeinPlatz Portable becomes really easy to recommend to anyone looking for a better way to visualize the contents on their drive. One step you can take to being more conscious of this matter is using a dedicated tool for storage management. It all adds up, and you eventually start to wonder where all of that space went, even with the larger capacities of today getting increasingly more affordable. Some users are more wasteful with their storage than others, and as such, it’s important to be mindful of what you’re storing on your drives.

I am giving up and moving onto another application. The latest version I'm finding is also downloading this online backup software that will not uninstall properly and causing issues when starting Photo Pros. I've tried multiple times to download and install from different locations to no avail. I uninstalled the latest version and used a previous and then started getting virus activity notices. I like this program and had been using it for about a year until I started getting errors and i t shutting down at random after updating. Was excellent until newest versions became spam.
